Statistics from the ONS cites ‘50% of all marriages end in divorce’ Help For Young Families have however discovered a trend in women over 50. This group often end up living alone (over 10% of the population - increasing steeply with age), figures suggest that planning for a financially secure future is becoming more important, especially for women.The Home Deposit Grant, a response to a high and rising cost of living in Britain now sees Women over 40 as an at risk group and a Home Deposit Grant Assistance focus group . The Project might not be able to help everyone and will advice that you see an independent financial adviser however if you would like to recieve a grant towards owning a home for investment. The Project is able to assist you with a sizeable deposit amount towards an investment home
Why does the Trust support property as a way of investment for Women over 40? According to statistics by the Office of National Statistics, the biggest social mobility indicator. The most disadvantaged groups usually have the most to gain.
